How should I choose the master coil from several good coils?
If there are 3 or 5 good coils, choose one and set the initial setting. Display the waveforms of every coil by pressing the start button. Make a visual check of each waveform, and you will be able to find your best coil. (Please refer to our manual for the initial setting.)
* If there are 30 good coils
- Choose one coil.
- Store the waveform. (Set the value 10 – 20% for AREA, DIF-AREA)
- Test all 30 coils and sort out 10 coils with DIF-AREA values that are very close.
- Calculate the average of the 10 DIF-AREA values and choose one coil with the value that is the closest to the average, as a tentative master coil.
- Store the waveform
- Test the 10 coils and calculate the average of the AREA value.
- The coil with the AREA value that is the closest to the average, will be the master coil.
